We’re deciding between a few flooring layouts and herringbone keeps coming up in design references. What makes it so popular? Is it just a trend or does it have functional advantages too? I’m leaning toward it, but worried it’s more expensive to install or limits your options with furniture placement. Has anyone had this installed in a standard apartment space?
